We recently read Aldo Leopold in the class I decided to take, and so I’m brimming with enthusiasm right now for the whole land ethic idea. Ecological conscience 08!

Not that we’ll really get to that point as a society anytime soon (it’s a mighty high standard to try for), but it’s a nice thought.
