Movin' on up... to the East Coast @ 2008/07/03 21:02
For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been in talks with the IT folks at Ikaria for about a month now. My dad and stepmom currently work for the company, and they’re looking to expand their help desk. Phone interviews have gone well, and if they offer me a position, I will likely take it. Their offices are based in NJ, so I would likely move to PA, either nearby, or back in with, my parents.

Cross your fingers for me. I’d really like to get out of Minnesota before the cold weather returns. And yes, I know that New England isn’t THAT much warmer. Being closer to some family is the other major draw.

Yeah. The heat’s not so bad – I think it’s topping out at about 90, and usually it doesn’t get past 85. However the humidity is practically unbearable. Fortunately my loft has central air and the Fed should have good climate control, so the only time I’ll be exposed is during my three-minute bike commute.
