Sara and I took like 10 bags of books we didn’t want to Half-Price books last night and walked away with $91. Not too shabby. I was prepared to accept as little as $20 for the convenience of getting rid of a bunch of books I’d never read (or never read again), and I had heard horror stories of people getting like 50 cents for several bags.

But it seems like if you sell them reasonable books that are in good shape, you can walk away with a decent offer. Overall, we got about $1/book by my estimate.

They’re so awesome. I need to get around to doing that again soon..
